The best face balm

I love this balm! It feels fantastically melty and has a lovely, subtle scent (and I don't like scented creams). It leaves my skin hydrated and soft and people tell me they can see the difference. I have quite sensitive skin that doesn't react well to a lot of products, but I haven't had any issues with this. This is certainly a pricey balm, but not all that much more expensive than my old moisturiser, really. Well worth it. I like company's approach and ethos, too. Byproducts from winemaking - who knew?

Leaves my face so soft

I tried it last night and I immediately loved the unique refreshing scent which reminded me of a luxury boutique spa hotel. The texture was also quite different to anything I'd previously used. Hard to describe as its not creamy, not gel and not foaming but I really like the softness and glide of it. I especially loved the comfortable feel of my skin and beard after using it. I waited a while before applying a facial oil and my skin and beard was still very comfortable and soft.

A dream to use

A beautiful, subtle scent, evokes a serene feeling! It feels classy, without all the nasties you may get with the high priced 'products'! My skin feels smooth and thoroughly clean but doesn't feel tight or dry. It's lovely to use in the morning and the calming scent also helps you to wind down when used in the evening! It's super easy to use, leaves no horrible residue and I would highly recommend! Looks great in the bathroom too!

Very gently moisturise

Very gently moisturise my sensitive skin with this product. A very small amount of the product is enough. It feels a bit greasy at first, but after a few minutes, that feeling disappears, and your skin looks moisturised. I use it before my sunscreen, and it doesn’t leave any residue after. The smell is very pleasant, and the glass jar is well-preserved.

Works wonders!

I’ve been using this hand pomade on my daughter’s arms at night to help with her eczema, and it’s been amazing. It’s very hydrating and doesn’t irritate or sting her sensitive skin at all. Vinotherapy is the process of using powerful extracts taken from the by- products of winemaking. Grape skins, seeds, and stems contain high concentrations of polyphenols like resveratrol. These antioxidants help protect, soothe, and strengthen the skin. At Pelegrims, we extract these compounds to create nutrient rich formulas that deliver real results.

From vineyard to lab in 20 minutes

We formulate, trial and manufacture our products in the UK, just 20 miles from Westwell Wines, our vineyard partner. This hyper-local supply chain ensures quality, sustainability, and full traceability from grape to lab to your skin.

Independently made, carefully perfected

We produce every product in small batches, prioritising quality over speed. Each product takes over a year to formulate and another to test. All formulas are trialled in Oxford and we never test on animals.

Our hyper-local model drastically reduces our carbon footprint, while upcycling by-products from winemaking into nutrient-rich skincare. We see the entire process, all the way through from seed to bottled product.

We use ethically sourced ingredients, working only with suppliers who care for their supply chains. You won’t find bulking agents, or harsh additives, just potent, concentrated formulas. Our grape extracts come from Westwell Wines, where grapes are grown with low-intervention methods that protect the soil and promote biodiversity.

A gentle Hand Cleanser with our English Ortega Grape Extract that helps to repair and hydrate the skin. Paired with a pumpable cream version of our Hand Pomade.

Pump a small amount of cleanser onto wet hands and massage together to create a lather. Continue to massage between fingers and knuckles whilst rinsing with hot water. Pat dry with a cotton towel. Apply Pelegrims Hand Cream after use to lock in moisture.

Worth the Expense.

It’s a little more expensive than some mid-range products, but you don’t need much at all. A little goes a very long way. Some may find it a little heavy on application but, if you wait for it to settle, it leaves the skin feeling moisturised and soft. Don’t be deterred by the brown appearance as it is transparent om application. Can recommend.

I opened the jar with no hope, but firstly noticed the absolutely beautiful gentle scent. I put a small amount on my finger. It scooped up softly. Not hard like some balms. I spread it across my uncomfortable dehydrated face and… it was absolute bliss. It comforted me immediately and smelled gorgeous. It has now been 5 hours. And my skin still feels hydrated and moisturised. It's deeply hydrating quality is proof and speaks for itself. I wish it was £35 price point, but I guess the ingredients are top quality.
